Project Description:

The assignment was conducted between March 2019 and October 2019. The objective of the assignment was to conduct TRADE ME exporter survey to mitigate the risks of data collection by using overlapping survey techniques and the enlistment of local expertise. In order to achieve the above mentioned objective, DM WATCH collected data on 1,000 enterprises. The enterprises were sampled from a list of businesses located in around 20 major cities that includes – Dhaka, Chittagong, and Rajshahi. The data for the study has been collected through Kobo Collect App by using android tablets. Conceptual and measurement framework was developed by TRADE ME evaluation team and DM WATCH was responsible for all aspects of data collection including training of team members, team mobilization, supervising data collection, verification of collected data in different locations.
