Pin-up session with CCC local stakeholders

DM WATCH has organized a pin-up session in Cumilla City Corporation with local stakeholders on Preparing Ward Poverty Atlas and Urban Poverty Profile for 09 Cities for “Livelihoods Improvement of Urban Poor Communities Project (LIUPCP)” of UNDP on August 18, 2020.

Managing partner and other officials of DM WATCH, Local Government officials (Superintendent Engineer, Assistant Superintendent Engineer), UNDP town team (Town Manager, Governance and Mobilization Officer, other UNDP officials), and Community Organizer, CDC leaders, CDC members from the community attended the pin-up session.

The discussion was on identifying the typology of the poor settlements with their characteristics, city contexts in terms of geographic location, livelihood and income opportunities in different parts of the city, demographic characteristics, and other relevant concerns associated with the city’s poverty context.
